To taste the authentic flavours of Gujarat and Rajasthani cuisines you don’t need to rush anywhere. The place provides the mouth-watering food with authentic taste. The place gives you the taste of Gujarati, Rajasthani and Punjabi food in a single plate.
Ambience: A beautiful place with nice wall paintings on the wall followed by comfortable seating arrangement.
Staff: Well managed, courteous and eager to serve you with all of their dishes.
Food: We had the big jumbo Panchratna thali. The plates were huge consisting of 9 katoris – means 9 gravies.
Paneer dum Gobhi – It is a mix of Paneer and Gobhi good in taste. Well-cooked as both individually too was giving the taste of spices. The fusion of both Paneer and Gobhi is good I have not eaten this for a long time.
Dal Makhani – I find the taste of the dish okiesh. It has onions in it.
Gatta Rajasthani – A dish straight from Rajasthan – loved it, made of besan (gatte), spicey.
Mix Katori – Just one word “wow”. Dahi Vada should be soft and should melt in the mouth as u eat. It has both the qualities.
Rajasthani Dal – Normal in taste. Like eating chilka mong dal.
Rajasthani Kadhi – Spicy, properly cooked. If the Kadhi is not cooked properly it gives a taste of besan in between but this was up to the mark.
Dal Batti Churma – The main dish of Rajasthan – the Batti was good crispy served with Rajasthani dal over it. Like having Kachori sabzi in here they have dal batti churma there.
Snacks – Veg cutlet – triangle shape made filled with potato in it. Khaman Dhokla invariants – Pizza dhokla, Bread Dhokla, Fried Dhokla. I find is little dry as per my taste but the taste was good. Can skip the pizza one. Khandvi must try again a great dish made up of besan.
Rotis – Served three kinds of Rotis – normal phulka, Onion Paratha and Puran Poli ( excellent). Puran Poori is a Rajasthani roti, sweet in taste having churma filled in it. Small coin shaped puffed roti.
Rice – Biryani rice good. Mung Dal Khichdi – the Khichdi has a good touch of clove and Dal chini.
Dessert – Aamras – no comments must try that’s all.
Kesar Malpua – Good in taste and extra crispy.
