If you are looking to try out something different, this is the place for you. Festival is on until 28th.
The place situated ahead of Deep market while moving towards Wazirabad. Little far from metro station, need to take some conveyance to reach there.
Ambience: The festival is going on so everything was dipped in the colour of Rajasthan the decoration of the place to the turbans of the staff. A nice spacious place with a good bar facility to chill. Separate section for the big groups to enjoy their food without any disturbance, I sat with my friends to enjoy my meal.
Staff: The staff greeted us well and they all were immersed in the colour of festival which was depicted in their dresses.
Food: The important part we Ordered:
Bharwan Mirch with Pineapple Chutney – Aka kurkuri mirch. Crispy, perfectly fried mirch went really well with the chutney.
Jodhpuri Kachori Chaat – Presentation of the dish was enticing. A kachori served with paneer masala with Curd and sweet chutney at the top. Looks like Raj Kachori, but the kachori was different. It was a perfect Rajasthani Starter with fusion.
Paneer Bati with Mint Pippete – This was the best starter. Chunky pieces of well cooked paneer stuffed with just the right amount of mint – this combination definitely took my breath away. A must try.
Crispy Mango Chaat Tokri – The Tokri was tempting, again a great fusion but I was unable to make out what the Tokri was made of. It had mango, tomato and corn in it.
Now it was time to have main course:
Onion Rice with Crispy Bhindi & Kadhi – A great dish presented beautifully. Nicely fried kurkuri bhindi was accompanied by rice. The first few bites might seem odd to your tastebuds but the flavours start growing on you soon after.
Desi Ghee Khichdi with Achari Paneer – The dish consists of Paneer in between with Khichdi on the sides. Simple Khichdi with chaTpati Paneer Sabzi was giving a different taste which you have never experienced before.
Paneer Laung Lata – A good dish prepared in white gravy (cashew and ginger garlic) with a touch of clove and little sweeter in taste.
Poori Sabzi – The show stopper. No words Aloo with Poori is always the best.
Dal Panchmel – Old fashioned dal good in taste.
Gatta Biryani- For veg lovers, trust me, this is the biryani you are looking for. A perfect blend of spices well baked Gatte and going perfectly with Biryani as your soybean goes with Biryani.
Time to have some sweet –
Orange & Cinnamon Scented Panjeeri – The dish served in orange rind with Kasar in it ( as I believe)
Motichoor Ladoo Rabri Parfait – Ladoo served with Rabri topping, was amazing recommended.
