Have you ever craved for substantial breakfast? But you end up waking up late?? We have a solution for you. It’s BIG BAWA BREAKFAST BY @SBOWINDIA
Sometimes it becomes so hard to find out a breakfast place where you can just relax and enjoy your breakfast. Soda Bottle Opener Wala has come up with their Big Bawa Breakfast Menu which they serve from 8:30am to 12:00pm every day. This place was on my list for a long time. As it serves Parsi cuisine, it attracted me more because this community is on the verge of getting extinct. So I thought why not to try their dishes before their extinction. Well, I was just kidding, by the way, I am glad that this community is trying to expand and being noticeable. I went there on a sunny Sunday to try their special breakfast menu.
It is said that one should never skip a breakfast meal because it is considered as KING of all the meals. As I found little difficulty in finding the entrance to this place but it was worth a while. A beautiful small staircase with pictures of people from Parsi community hanging all over the place along with the colourful lights and old utensils. The roof has a toy train track which is supposed to run throughout.
Now continuing with the food and drinks we had, started my meal with Irani Chai which was made with thickened milk and Parsi Choy which was flavoured with lemongrass and mint. To be honest, I liked both of the teas.
I ordered Chilli Cheese Pav in which one can easily sense the freshness, topped with tomato sauce made in-house, green chillis and cheese. The dish was delectable I loved the pav which was fresh and crispy loaded with cheese and its aroma was divine
Puri Bhaji – The Pooris were crispy and made of white wheat, on the other hand for Bhaji first word that came to my mind was chatakdar. Bhaji was different as it was prepared with yoghurt. That combination made it more chatakdar.
Mushroom on Khari is something you won’t feel like eating a mushroom but you will get a little hint of it. The mixture of mushrooms and cheese topped over light and crispy puff pastry was cherry on the top.
I also ordered their Signature Cold brew and Star Anise and Mandarin cold brew which were amazing and visiting again just for them as the flavour of freshly brewed coffee with Mandarin was best.
Last but not the least, DESSERTS- I am going to visit them again for them. Mixed Berry pancake which was beautifully presented and topped with berries, yoghurt and watermelon and apples on the side.
Now introducing the star dish of that day- Mawa cake – HIGHLY RECOMMENDED– perfect sweetness, moist enough and finished in just two minutes.
As far as service is concerned, one should definitely visit this place for their special service people. They love to serve you and host you like a guest at their own home.
The Parsi community is calling you!
Are you joining them for their big Bawa breakfast??
