I used to visit Vault a lot and now it is changed to the Station bar. It was my first visit and I would say it was better than before and I loved it.
We started with Bhakbhak Adda – a mix of various alcohols like tequila, gin, rum with cranberry juice in it. The cranberry was not overpowering the cocktail which was the best part. Platform No. 2 – As I am a whiskey lover – opted for this. Loved my drink and the presentation.
Started with Tandoori Veg platter – Paneer tikka was perfectly marinated and cooked. Hara Bhara kebab was soft and juicy but higher on a spicier side. Mushrooms were gone in a blink. Masala Soya Chaap was average but the taste of masala was very good.
Nachos were the stars, they were topped with cheese, sour cream and Guacamole. Masala cheese Doritos was a perfect snack for the cocktails – Having it one by one, sipping our drink and enjoying the music.
Thai Spring roll – Cigar shaped rolls filled with veggies and cheese was an impeccable Chinese starter to relish your taste buds. Crispy rolls were going well with the little sweet dip.
Dahi Ke kebab – After having it from the platter we ordered it again. Loved the texture and the aroma which can be felt while breaking it. The beautiful texture of curd oozing out from the kebab and which melted in our mouth instantly. They were mildly spicy in taste. Do order it if you like Dahi Ke kebab.
We only ordered only Dal Makhani in the main course as we were so full. The consistency was good and we felt the richness of cream in it. In Bread, we kept it simple with our favourite Butter naan and Tandoori Roti. The quantity of dal was enough for two.
No meal is complete without desserts and especially when I saw New York Cheesecake in the menu I couldn’t stop myself from ordering one hence ordered one along with Chocolate Brownie – Chocolate brownie was moist topped with vanilla ice cream and the best part it was eggless. New York cheesecake was decent, would say not the best one but not bad either it was pretty average but was perfect to end the evening.
