Cafe Di Milano

It was a chilling afternoon in Feb and was not in the mood of going out. But the phone rang and I was on my way to meet my friend who landed from Germany. We were figuring where to go as I have very little Idea of the places around Dwarka, who have a decent ambience at a reasonable price. Its been 2 years, I have set foot in that area and now can see lots of Cafes have popped up in the recent time. One Such café is Café Di Milano which we found after searching it on Zomato.

The place is about 800 meters at the back of the Dwarka Metro station 13. The place is lit with bright colours and beautiful painting on the walls. A carom Board is placed at one corner, on which we tried our hand while waiting for the food. The place was packed and we set outside as neither the rooftop nor the indoor seating was available due to the rush of Valentine week.

Started with Drinks and ordered Shakes. Shakes arrived before the food and we end up drinking all while waiting for the food and then reordered the same. The consistency was pleasing and they made it fresh in front of us. The place looks more beautiful at night as they had done lighting all over the place.

Nachos

Nachos – The nachos were appetizing, topped with Sour cream if I remember correctly. It had baked beans, shredded Cheddar cheese and Jalapeno. One of the dish I would surely recommend to go for. Though the quality of the ingredients used was pretty average.

Butter Paneer Pizza

Pizza – What better than a cheesy pizza? In my opinion, it is a great choice while on a date, if you both have the same taste, but actually who cares if it is pizza. The pizza was thin crust and loaded with cheese and veggies. The veggies were balanced not too much just in the right amount. As I said above who cares about boys choice it is always to impress the girl and here I am sitting and eating Paneer in the pizza. (Sometimes the pain is that intense that you can’t hide it, just told you what happened)

Fajita Veggie Sandwich – Though we were full, already ordered it. It was stuffed with Zucchini, and Zucchini and some more Zucchini, joke apart it was a crispy well-baked Sandwich with little of cheese, tomato and caramelized onion. Overall it was average as I didn’t find any flavour to cherish.

The place is good for a date. Service was pretty average and the food was ordinary too. Don’t expect much with food rather enjoy the beautiful aesthetics and the positive vibes the place generates. In the summers won’t suggest to seat outside or the rooftop, if they have not taken proper measures to beat the heat. A pocket-friendly place in Dwarka.
