It is 1 am, you are searching for a good cold coffee and a place where you can sit and relax. This is the kind of place is “The blue parrot café”. I was here on a Sunday afternoon to meet my friend who was staying at the hotel and we decided to catch-up in the Hotel restaurant.
The place is simple and the area is beautifully used. We ordered Cold coffee and Fruit shake to start for the drinks and in starters Stuffed Masala chaap, Dahi Ke sholey and Spring roll and in non-veg Chicken tikka and Chilli Chicken.
The Chaap was good and not chewy at all, whereas on the other hand Dahi ke Sholey was nicely prepared, loved the spring rolls it was made using rice sheets – crispy and tasty. Overall it was kind of desi food we are having which was well balanced in spices. Non-vegetarian that my friend had loved it, that all I can tell with the look of his face.
We were full in starters itself so ordered one veg thali only with Laccha Paratha. The thali consisted of Dal Makhani, Shahi Paneer, mix-veg, rice and Laccha Paratha. The food was good and it was made fresh so took some time.
The place has huge options to choose from, it was raining and we enjoyed our food with it. The place is good for having coffee and spend some time with your loved ones. The glass wall opening up to the main road attracts a charm which can be enjoyed with some light snack and coffee.
