The name is a brand, I know Pandara Road because of this restaurant. I was looking to pay a visit to this place from last 2 years and finally this year I did. The place is simply beautiful, and walls are decorated with paintings depicting the construction of famous Delhi monuments like India gate and more. Talking about the menu an extensive and lavish menu spread over a hundred and seventy-five exotic recipes.
Assorted Kebab Platter
Dahi Ke Kebab
About the food, we started with Veg Seekh Kebab, Paneer tikka, Dahi ke Kebab and Veg Galouti. The portion size of each item is generous, and the size of kebabs are also good. Dahi Ke Kebab was delectable, the curd was oozing out like cheese while breaking it. A hung curd with a bit of sourness with some chillis in it was making it scrumptious. Veg Galouti, on the other hand, was spicy with melt in the mouth texture. Seekh Kebab and Paneer tikka were also equally good but the above two I liked the most.
Sasro Ka Saag and Makke ki Roti – In winters you can’t get enough of this combo. This place serves one of the best Sarso Ka Saag. I and my friend finished it all before moving for the actual Main course.
In the main course, we tried the Buffet, it was having 25 varieties in it. For me, the buffet is for trying maximum dishes with minimal wastage. I tried Hyderabadi Paneer, Hyderabadi Handi sabzi, Dal Makhani, Kashmiri Dum aloo and tandoori roti. Hyderabadi paneer is a must-try here along with Kashmiri Dum aloo.
We tried Tahiri too served with salan and curd. The rice was flavourful can give it a try.
In desserts, we had Phirni, Gulab Jamun, Gajar Ka halwa and Gajak. My friend loved the phirni the most whereas I finished gajar ka halwa and Gulab Jamun. Cold phirni with light sweet was too good, while Mawa infused Gajar ka halwa was appetizing.
Talking about the place we loved everything. In food, I would recommend Dahi ke kebab and Veg Galouti is must try while in the main course I loved the Paneer and Dum aloo. It was a great meal, will be visiting soon to try out other dishes.
