Gurugram is like another city for me and driving a car on a weekday is like giving extra pain to your legs. It was a sunny Sunday afternoon when I was going to Gurugram to meet my old friends, not so old though but it was quite some time we all didn’t meet. Catching up with old pals is always refreshing and joyful as you have so many gossips to discuss. One of my friends is a fan of this place, so we landed here to curb our hunger.
The place is famous for its drinks and gigs. We started with Black Panther a mix of Gin, Kala Khatta and orange bitters, the drink was having a very good touch of Gin and going well with Kala Khatta – loved it. One of my friends opted for My Thai – again a gin-based drink which is her favourite and the other one had Singhal Malt with the touch of cinnamon and lime juice. We adored our drink, munching with Foxnuts while our food was arriving.
In the starters first, we had Avocado Toast Platter in this we were served with 3 toasts with different dressing on it. The presentation was way beautiful. Loved the feta and garlic tomato dressing on the toasts.
After having the toast, we were happy, while gazing our eyes on other tables to see what they are eating (we do that sometimes, trust me it is so much fun). While doing all this our Mushroom & Asparagus Phyllo Rolls arrived – Mushrooms with crunchy asparagus rolled in a light and crisp phyllo sheets. The dish was quite flavourful, and I ate 4 pieces out of 6.
Pita Pocket with Falafel – Pita pockets with falafel is a good combo and if one can get fresh hummus then it’s a bliss. Here the dish was mildly spiced, and both the dips were good but could have done better.
Verdure Pizza – Loved this thin crust beauty. Coming straight from the wooden fired oven. The pizza consisted of Broccoli, mushrooms, bell peppers, onion and zucchini, a delight for the vegetarians. My friends were enjoying their Non-veg one and didn’t look up until the last slice was in their belly. The pizza was having 8 slices in a serving. It was a good big pizza.
Homemade Pumpkin Ravioli – As the name says the ravioli consisted of pumpkin and gorgonzola in a delicious Red Thai curry. The presence of pumpkin making it a bit extra sweet.
In desserts, we had Blue Berry Cheesecake and Boozy Tiramisu. We took one bite of Tiramisu, then one more and again until it was finished. Tiramisu was really good while the Cheesecake was decent enough but could have been much better.
This a rooftop restaurant and on Sunday it was sunny so we enjoyed at the fullest with good drinks, delectable starters and scrumptious pizza. Our server was very good and so do the Bartender, loved the drinks. The place is perfect for couples, families or group of friends.
